WETBACK BOILERS
Advantages of a Wet Back Steam Boiler:
Improved Efficiency: The enhanced heat transfer and more effective combustion in a wet back steam boiler can lead to higher overall boiler efficiency compared to a dry back boiler.
Durability: The water-cooled reversing chamber helps reduce thermal stresses, which can contribute to the longevity of the boiler.
Lower Emissions: The improved combustion efficiency can result in reduced emissions, making wet back boilers more environmentally friendly.
These Boilers are three pass, wet back, fully packaged boilers, equipped with monobloc burners to deliver high combustion and thermal efficiencies.
This range comprises of packaged boilers from 1 TPH to 25 TPH, designed to fire liquid and gaseous fuels, the most common being furnace oil, HSD, LPG and natural gas.
The true three-pass design ensures efficient heat transfer and low flue gas exit temperatures for high thermal efficiencies. Our boilers are manufactured with latest submerged arc fabrication technology to ISO 9001, IBR standards and are easy to maintain and inspect.
High heat transfer area, water hold-up capacity and steam space.
Smart control system enabled with a touch screen control panel.
Equipped with high turndown monoblock or dual block burner.
Completely packaged, shipped with essential control cabling.
Single element ensures fine drum level control.

Features of a Wet Back Steam Boiler:
Reversing Chamber: In a wet back steam boiler, the combustion gases flow through the flue passages or boiler tubes at the front of the boiler and then pass through the combustion chamber at the rear. The combustion chamber is surrounded by water, making it water-cooled.
Enhanced Heat Transfer: The wet back design allows for improved heat transfer efficiency. The water-cooled reversing chamber absorbs additional heat from the combustion gases, leading to increased heat transfer to the surrounding water and, ultimately, higher overall boiler efficiency.
Reduced Stress on Tubes: The water-cooled combustion chamber helps in reducing thermal stresses on the boiler tubes or flue passages, potentially extending the lifespan of the boiler.
Lower Emissions: The wet back design can promote more complete combustion, resulting in lower emissions of pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx).
Simplicity: Wet back steam boilers are relatively simple in design, with fewer refractory materials and parts compared to dry back boilers. This can make maintenance and cleaning easier.
